Prague will once again host RefuFest, an annual festival organized by the NGO InBáze, celebrating music, theatre, dance, and a variety of cultural activities from across the globe. The event, scheduled for September 6th and 7th, aims to foster understanding and solidarity among the city’s diverse communities, highlighting Prague as a place where people of different cultures and religions can coexist peacefully.
The festival’s primary objective is to promote diversity and support for immigrants and refugees. It is largely driven by the efforts of volunteers, many of whom are migrants and refugees residing in Prague. The event also brings together various organizations involved in migrant integration, including NGOs, universities, schools, media outlets, and local businesses.
Festival Schedule:
- September 6, 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM: The festival will kick off with presentations by non-profit organizations that work with migrants.
Location: Community Center L10, Letohradská 10, Prague 7. - September 7, 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM: The main event will take place, featuring performances, cultural exhibitions, and interactive activities.
